Just Another Clown

There is a smile on my face

Hiding away the tears

Hiding away the years

That passed me by

The flower of my youth gone

With barely the strength to carry on

In my ashen-faced visage

Broken from this wayward voyage

Before you, the face a clown

Forlorn and blown down

Wreckage from the storm

Deviant from the norm

Just another vagrant, vagabond SOB

Just some other 'never meant to be

Just another clown in the circus
